Our Net Zero Commitment
How we're playing our part to save our planet
We will reduce our Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions in line with climate science to limit warming to 1.5°C as the world transitions to a zero-carbon economy through working with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi).
We will reduce our absolute scope 1 and scope 2 GHG emissions by 50% by 2025 from a 2020 base year and measure and reduce our scope 3 emissions.
As a certified B Corp, minimising our negative environmental impact is a priority. In 2022, we joined the B Corp Climate Collective and committed to achieving net zero by 2030. This is 20 years ahead of the 2050 target set out by the Paris Agreement.
So, what is a B Corp?

B Corporations (or B Corps) are a growing group of companies who are reinventing business, by pursuing purpose as well as profit. Optimised has been certified by B Lab (the not for profit behind the B Corp movement) as having met rigorous social and environmental standards which represent its commitment to goals outside of shareholder profit.
Simply put, certified B Corps are companies who are committed to prioritising the environment and society in the way they do business.
Our Sustainability Strategy
How we will achieve this:
Achieve average annual energy savings of at least 10% for our remote and onsite optimisation clients
Put in place the mechanisms to measure and report total carbon emissions savings
Continue to ensure all our clients are given the option to purchase renewable energy
Encourage our landlords to purchase renewable energy where it is outside of our operational control
Electrify our company fleet from 2023
How we will achieve this:
Educate our people on diversity, equity and inclusion and embed into our core HR processes and company values
Improve induction and ongoing development processes
Create a safe working environment for our people
Ensure that the physical and mental health of our people is an ultimate priority
How we will achieve this:
Reduce absolute scope 1 and scope 2 GHG emissions by 50% by 2025 from a 2020 base year, and measure and reduce our scope 3 emissions (excluding offsets) and aim for net zero GHG emissions by 2030
Go paperless by 2025
Ensure at least 50% of suppliers adhere to our responsible sourcing policy
Research company pension investments and communicate options to everyone enrolled
